First keep in mind that your body is dehydrated and you need plenty of water not only after waking up but also before going to sleep Also, don’t try to cure a hangover with a drink –this doesn’t work.
Okay so the first home remedy is drinking orange juice. This juice has lots of Vitamin C and Vitamin C accelerates the rate of alcohol breakdowns. Other type of juice you can drink as a home remedy for hangovers is tomato’s juice, a freshly made juice of tomato works wonders to relieve the symptoms of a hangover.
Eat honey. Honey gives electrolytes, restore the blood sugar levels (fructose), and you don’t process honey, so it helps you flush out all the alcohol from your body.
When it comes to headaches, there’s nothing better like a pill like aspirin or ibuprofen. A pill will take out the ache fast! What I personally do as a home remedy, is wake up drink 4 glasses of water, eat something, take ibuprofen and then go to sleep again. Sure, I miss some precious hours of the day, but when I wake up I feel like a new man!
Remember that you can take also vitamin C with a multivitamin supplement. I have found this to work great. Once before drinking and once in the morning. All these home remedies have different effect on you depending on individual factors, you’ll have to try them and find the perfect combination, because, home remedies for a hangover are possible!
